Adams  Civil service exams in department of correction facilities.IntroductionThis bill would require the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (“DCAS”) to offer civil service exams in Department of Correction (“DOC”) facilities to all incarcerated individuals who meet the minimum qualifications. This bill would also waive the fee for civil service exams for individuals in DOC custody and for individuals enrolled in reentry services or services related to alternatives to incarceration. This bill would also require DOC to offer exam preparation programming to all incarcerated individuals. This bill would also require DCAS to report on how many individuals in DOC custody or enrolled in reentry services or services related to alternative to incarceration sat for a civil service exam. De La Rosa  Requiring the department of citywide administrative services to establish a civil service ambassador program.IntroductionThis bill would require the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) to establish a program to provide education and outreach citywide, through City programs, to populations that could benefit from information regarding the benefits of joining the civil service and the process of taking civil service examinations.
