No. 935-A | Quarterly reporting on confirmed firearm discharges. | Introduction | This bill would require the New York City Police Department (NYPD) to report on the number of confirmed firearm discharges in the city on a weekly basis. NYPD would be required to report the date, time, and location of each firearm discharge, as well as a description of the circumstances of the discharge. This report would not include firearm discharges by NYPD officers acting within the scope of their duties. | | |
