No. 202-A | Time permitted for the installation of covered safety treatments on any portion of a street adjacent to a school. | Introduction | This bill would require that where a Department of Transportation (DOT) traffic study determines it is appropriate to install a covered safety treatment on any portion of a street adjacent to a school, DOT must complete such installation within 120 days, or 180 days in the case of a traffic control signal, subject to certain exceptions. DOT would also be required to submit a report every two years regarding the installations completed. | | |
