Resolution approving the new designation and changes in the designation of certain organizations to receive funding in the Expense Budget.

Whereas, On June 30, 2024, the Council of the City of New York (the “City Council”) adopted the expense budget for Fiscal Year 2025 with various programs and initiatives (the “Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget”); and
Whereas, On June 30, 2023, the Council of the City of New York (the “City Council”) adopted the expense budget for Fiscal Year 2024 with various programs and initiatives (the “Fiscal 2024 Expense Budget”); and
Whereas, The City Council is hereby implementing and furthering the appropriations set forth in the Fiscal 2025 and Fiscal 2024 Expense Budgets by approving the new designations and changes in the designation of certain organizations receiving local, aging, anti-poverty, domestic violence and empowerment, parks equity, food pantry, environmental, cultural, immigration, neighborhood development, adult literacy, discharge planning, business development, community support, elder abuse, arts, community safety and victim services, and Speaker’s initiative discretionary funding, and by approving the new designations and changes in the designation of certain organizations to receive funding pursuant to certain initiatives in accordance therewith; and
Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designations and changes in the designation of certain organizations receiving Local Initiatives discretionary funding pursuant to the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 1; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the change in designation of a certain organization receiving Aging discretionary funding in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 2; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the change in the designation of a certain organization receiving Anti-Poverty discretionary funding in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 3; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the changes in the designations of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Speaker’s Initiative to Address Citywide Needs in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 4; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the changes in the designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Cultural After-School Adventure (CASA) Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 5; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the changes in the designations of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Cultural Immigrant Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 6; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the changes in the designations of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Domestic Violence and Empowerment (DoVE) Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 7; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the changes in the designations of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Parks Equity Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 8; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the change in the designation of a certain organization receiving funding pursuant to Support Our Older Adults discretionary funding in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 9; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the changes in the designations of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to Food Pantries discretionary funding in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 10; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the changes in the designations of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to SU-CASA discretionary funding in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 11; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designations and the changes in the designations of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Adult Literacy Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 12; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the change in the designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Adult Literacy Pilot Project in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 13; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designations of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to Discharge Planning discretionary funding in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 14; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the change in designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to Coalition Theater of Color discretionary funding in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 15; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the change in designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to AAPI Community Support discretionary funding in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 17; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the change in designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Initiative to Combat Sexual Assault in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 18; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the change in designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to Elder Abuse Prevention Programs in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 19; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the change in designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to Protect NYC Families discretionary funding in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 20; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation of a certain organization receiving funding pursuant to the Speaker’s Initiative to Address Citywide Needs in accordance with the Fiscal 2024 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 21; and be it further
Resolved, That the City Council amends the Purpose of Funds for certain organizations receiving funding in accordance with the Fiscal 2025 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 22.
