The office would be responsible for, among other things, monitoring the implementation of regulations pursuant to the state’s cannabis law; establishing citywide cannabis equity goals; assisting social and economic equity applicants in applying for licenses to operate cannabis businesses; and developing a framework for incentives for social and economic equity applicants.
