RESOLUTION NO. 423

 

 

Resolution approving the decision of the City Planning Commission on ULURP No. C 040125 PPK, the disposition of five (5) city-owned properties located at 2076 Atlantic Avenue  (Block 1432/Lot 5), 2078 Atlantic Avenue (Block 1432/Lot 6), 2080 Atlantic Avenue (Block 1432/ Lot 7), 2084 Atlantic Avenue (Block 1432/Lot 9), and 2088 Atlantic Avenue (Block 1432/Lot 10), Brooklyn (L.U. No. 186).

                         WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission filed with the Council on May 17, 2004 its decision dated May 12, 2004 (the "Decision") on the application submitted pursuant to Section 197-c of the New York City Charter by the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, for the disposition of five (5) city-owned properties pursuant to zoning, located at 2076 Atlantic Avenue  (Block 1432/Lot 5), 2078 Atlantic Avenue (Block 1432/Lot 6), 2080 Atlantic Avenue (Block 1432/ Lot 7), 2084 Atlantic Avenue (Block 1432/Lot 9), and 2088 Atlantic Avenue (Block 1432/Lot 10), Community District 16, Borough of Brooklyn (ULURP No. C 040125 PPK) (the "Application");

 

                     WHEREAS, the Application is related to ULURP Application Number C 040124 ZMK (L.U. No. 185), an amendment to the Zoning Map;

 

                         WHEREAS, the Decision is subject to review and action by the Council pursuant to Section 197-d(b)(3) of the City Charter;

 

                         WHEREAS, upon due notice, the Council held a public hearing on the Decision and Application on June 8, 2004;

 

                     WHEREAS, the Council has considered the relevant environmental issues and the Negative Declaration, issued on December 8, 2003 (CEQR No. 03DME017K);

 

                     WHEREAS, the Council has considered the land use implications and other policy issues relating to the Decision and Application;

RESOLVED:

 

                     The Council finds that the action described herein will have no significant effect on the environment.

 

                         Pursuant to Section 197-d of the City Charter and on the basis of the Application and the Decision, the Council approves the Decision.
