State Legislation Resolution requesting the New York State Legislature to pass a bill introduced by Assembly Member Wright A.828, “An ACT authorizing the city of New York to reconvey its interest in certain real property acquired by in rem tax foreclosure in the borough of Manhattan to Debora Unger and Anthony Marcus, notwithstanding the expiration of the two year period with in which application may be made to the city to release its interest in property thus acquired; Block No. 2074, Lot No. 15 and Block No. 1949, Lot No. 5 on the tax map for the borough of Manhattan.”

Whereas, a bill has been introduced in the New York State Legislature by Assembly Member Wright A.828, “AN ACT authorizing the city of New York to reconvey its interest in certain real property acquired by in rem tax foreclosure in the borough of Manhattan to Debora Unger and Anthony Marcus, notwithstanding the expiration of the two year period with in which application may be made to the city to release its interest in property thus acquired; Block No. 2074, Lot No.15 and Block No.1949, Lot No. 5 on the tax map for the borough of Manhattan”; and

 

Whereas, the enactment of the above State Legislation requires the concurrence of the Council of the City of New York as the local legislative body; now, therefore be it

 

Resolved, that the Council of the City of New York, in accordance with the provisions of Section 2 of the Article 9 of the Constitution of the State of New York, does hereby request the New York State Legislature to enact into law the aforesaid pending bill.
